My story
Film drew me in not only because of the image, but because of the feeling it can preserve. Today, through DP Visuals Film, I bring light, movement, sound and editing together into stories with their own rhythm, atmosphere and meaning.
01 / BEGINNINGS
From curiosity to film
It began with curiosity and a sensitivity to images that stay with us. From early on, I was interested not only in how something looked, but in how light, movement and a moment can create a feeling we can experience again.
Over time, filming became more than an interest. It became a way of observing the world and telling stories through framing, rhythm, sound and editing.
02 / TURNING POINT
When a hobby becomes an approach
There was no single turning point. It was a gradual realisation that what attracts me most to film is the whole — not only filming, but the choice of frame, camera movement, colour, music, sound and the feeling that remains after watching.
That is when it became clear that I wanted to create projects that are not only beautiful to look at, but also have atmosphere, rhythm and character.
03 / APPROACH
I do not film only what can be seen.What matters is how it feels.
At weddings, I look for spontaneous moments, relationships, details and the atmosphere of the day. I am not interested only in documenting events, but in creating a film that preserves how the day truly felt.
For property, I present a space through light, movement, detail and atmosphere, so the viewer does not simply see it, but can imagine something of their own within it.
04 / BEYOND THE CAMERA
What inspires me beyond the frame
Much of the way I see film develops away from filming — in nature, while travelling, in the quiet of a space, in light at the right time and in places that carry meaning.
Those feelings often find their way into my work almost unnoticed. They are why rhythm, atmosphere, space and the details that give a film more than a beautiful image matter to me.
